Settling in @craveseattle new digs

P54P56P59P58P55P57

I never thought I would say this, but after 10 years of working from home…I broke down and decided a real office might be a nice change.

Two weeks ago this wasn’t even on my radar. Acting on impulse while out to coffee with @biznik founder Lara Feltin we decided to stop by for a quick visit to Bridget Perez co-founder of @traycreative.

Bridget was looking for neighbors she could share her conference room with and the next thing I knew I was negotiating with the landlord. Something I said I would never do again. Never say never.

It just felt right to hang with two other creative companies and bring the CRAVE team together on a daily basis.

It doesn’t hurt we are on Seattle’s only canal and watching boaters, bikers, skateboarders and runners all day makes me feel a bit of Amsterdam outside our door.

Smiling 🙂

Bring on the Balance
The New Year brings a fresh start; the chance to prioritize all the things you juggle in your daily life. Between work, family, fitness, hobbies and maintaining a social life, your to-do list can feel overwhelming even when it’s full of things you love! That’s why we are kicking off 2012 by focusing purely on something we all crave: balance. Yes, you can do it all. No, it doesn’t have to be perfect. Focus on finding the right balance that works for you.

Create Your Own Personal Virtual Vision Board
We can admit it, we love Pinterest. In fact, here at CRAVE it is our latest obsession. That is why we are mixing it up for this month’s CRAVE chat and inviting everyone to come pin with us and create virtual vision boards, all centered around this month’s topic of balance! We want you to focus on creating your own definition of balance, all while learning the latest social networking tool that will help your business and your personal life.

Bring your laptop, Kindle Fire or iPad, or you can sit in with someone else to learn! Want to see what we’ve been “pinning” lately? Click here to see our balance board.

Not on Pinterest yet? When you RSVP for this chat, we will use your email address to send you an invitation!

What is Pinterest?
Pinterest is a virtual pinboard. Pinterest lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes. Best of all, you can browse pinboards created by other people. Browsing pinboards is a fun way to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests.

About CRAVE Chats

Do you CRAVE more opportunities to network with each other as well as spend more time with our entrepreness intelligentsia? After all, we are a community of intuitive, resourceful, passionate, business-savvy, adventuresome mavens! CRAVE hosts intimate, informal discussions which take place at a different coffee shop or casual venue each month, and will be initially focused on our monthly business topic; however we will boldly go wherever the conversation takes us.
